How much does a deck cost in Dallas Fort Worth?
Most DFW decks run about $25 to $40 per sq ft in pressure treated pine, $35 to $55 in cedar and $45 to $75 in composite. A typical 300 sq ft deck lands between $8k and $22k. We price yours in writing for free.
How much does a patio cover cost?
Patio covers in DFW usually run $35 to $65 per sq ft. A 20 by 20 cover often lands between $10k and $19k depending on roofing, insulation and whether it is attached or freestanding.
Do I need a permit for a deck or patio cover?
Usually yes. Fort Worth, Keller and most DFW cities require one for attached decks, covers and decks more than 30 inches off the ground. We pull the permit and meet the inspector.
Composite or wood?
Cedar and pine cost less up front and look classic. Composite costs more but skips the staining and handles Texas sun better. We build both and bring samples to your visit.
How long does a build take?
Most pergolas and covers take 3 to 7 working days once permits clear. Decks take 1 to 3 weeks. Additions take 2 to 4 months depending on size.
